Free Parcel Delivery
Best for: Smaller items, accessories, compact furniture
- Delivered to your front door via UPS or FedEx
- No signature required
- Estimated delivery: 3–5 business days after shipment

Free Threshold Delivery
A secure handoff to the first dry area of your home (e.g. garage, porch, or building lobby). Please note that it may not necessarily be under the eaves. The delivery person will not move items into other areas or specific rooms within your home.

Your furniture is delivered and placed exactly where you want it in a single room of your choice.

White Glove Delivery ($199)
Our premium, full-service experience — the highest level of care from warehouse to your home.

- Pre-scheduled delivery window
- In-room delivery and professional placement
- Expert unpacking + complete removal of all packaging
- Professional assembly according to manufacturer instructions
- Final inspection to ensure everything is perfect
Important notes
- Items over 400 lbs are typically scheduled for White Glove
- Clear pathways required
- An adult (18+) must be present for the entire service
- Deliveries to the second floor or above may incur additional stair carry fees. Please confirm your staircase has adequate width and clearance for successful delivery.
Free Delivery Or Flat Rate
While most of the items offer free basic delivery, you can unlock a better experience. For eligible items, upgrade delivery at Your Cart to enjoy reliable, convenient delivery — for one flat rate. Note that if your order contains multiple items, they may be delivered in separate packages at different times.
Should you need to request a return after the delivery and assembly service has been completed, please note that the original packaging must be intact and provided for the return. Additionally, the flat rate Room of Choice or White Glove Delivery service fee becomes non-refundable once the order has been shipped, except in the case of defective merchandise.
Sign-off Guidelines
To better protect your rights and enable prompt resolution of any transit issues, please follow these steps upon delivery:
- Inspect Before Signing: While the delivery personnel are present, open the outer packaging and carefully examine the furniture for any visible damage, dents, scratches, or missing parts.
- No Damage Found: If the item arrives in perfect condition, please sign normally. Thank you for trusting Hernest.
- Damage Found but You Wish to Accept Delivery: Please clearly note the specific damage details on the BOL (Bill of Lading / Delivery Receipt) (e.g., “Outer box damaged, visible scratch on left side of tabletop”) and take clear photos for your records. This step is required by Logistics and allows us to initiate the after-sales process without delay.
- Severe Damage – Refuse Delivery: If the damage significantly affects use, you may refuse to accept the delivery and contact us, we will follow up on your order.
We craft and pack with care, and ship with trusted partners. While rare, transit damage is an uncontrollable risk. If it occurs, contact us – we'll make it right.
COI (Certificate of Insurance) for Apartments
Some apartment buildings require a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for deliveries. If your building requires one, it is recommended that you:
- Contact your property management to confirm COI requirements
- Email us at service@hernest.com — we will coordinate with the carrier
- Allow 3 business days for COI processing
- Note: Some carriers charge a COI fee; this is the customer's responsibility
Service Upgrade Request Window
If you’d like to add delivery-related services such as White Glove Delivery or COI, please contact us within 3 working days of receiving your order confirmation email. This helps us coordinate the request in time and reduces the risk of extra charges or upgrade failure close to delivery.
After this window, service changes may be harder to arrange and cannot be guaranteed. Reaching out early gives us the best chance to support your request smoothly.
Delayed Shipment
We understand that plans can change. If you need to delay the shipment of your order, please contact our Customer Service team at service@hernest.com or 877-308-0527 before your order enters the fulfillment process.
We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your request, though approval is not guaranteed.
Before Your Order Ships
- If your order has not yet shipped, we can hold it free of charge for up to 60 days. After the 60-day free storage period, a monthly storage fee of 5% of the product value will apply.
After Your Order Ships
- If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to customer unavailability, an incorrect address, or failure to collect the package within the carrier’s timeframe, the shipment may be returned to a local depot.
- We offer a 14-day free storage period. If you need more time, we can extend storage for an additional 14 days for a fee of 10% of the order value.
- If we are unable to reach you for an extended period, we will process a return and issue a refund, deducting 20% of the product value as a restocking fee.
All additional fees charged by the carrier or Hernest for storage, redelivery, or address correction are the customer’s responsibility. Applicable fees are subject to tax.
Redelivery Fee
Any last-minute changes to a scheduled delivery date must be requested at least 3 business days prior to the confirmed delivery date. Any last-minute requests made after this timeframe will be subject to a $100 redelivery fee, plus any applicable taxes.

Since we are closed on Sundays, any orders placed on that day (if the products are in stock) will be shipped out gradually starting on the next business day, Monday. Thank you.
Shipping Limitations
We reserve the right to decline delivery to specific locations for items that we consider to be at high risk of loss or damage, as well as locations that are inaccessible for our home delivery services. Please note that we are unable to deliver to PO boxes or Parcel Lockers as they are typically not suitable for accepting most of the items we sell. Thank you for your understanding.
