Avoid abrasive pads, scouring powders, harsh solvents, and direct heat. Natural stone should also be protected from prolonged contact with acidic or dark liquids.

Resin offers a smooth, durable finish, while wood may show natural grain and tone variation; both surfaces can develop normal signs of use over time.
