Hernest warrants that all our furniture is free from defective materials and workmanship. The warranty periods vary by product and begin from the date of delivery. Within the first 60 days after receipt, you will enjoy our Worry-Free Return Policy. Beyond that, we will still provide effective service within the warranty period.


If a product is found to be defective due to a manufacturing defect during the warranty period, Hernest will offer a refund, a replacement of the affected part(s) or a comparable piece of equal value and similar style. This warranty covers the replacement or refund of any product or part that exhibits a manufacturing or material defect not resulting from normal wear and tear or inherent characteristics of the materials used.

Structural Components

5 years

Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for the structural frame and legs. It does not cover damage from overloading, improper assembly, exposure to extreme humidity, or modifications made after purchase.            
Tabletop Surfaces 3 years             Warranty covers material defects affecting the surface durability. It does not cover scratches, heat marks, stains, fading from sunlight exposure, or damage caused by placing hot items directly on the surface.            
Gas Lift Mechanisms (Bar Stools)  3 years             Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship related to height adjustment and gas leaks. It does not cover damage caused by overloading, failing to use the right lubricants regularly, exposure to extreme temperatures, coastal salt air damage, self-disassembly, or normal wear that causes gradual sinking over time.            
Finishes 3 years             Warranty does not cover damages resulting from excessive soiling or improper or unapproved cleaning methods, fading or other damages resulting from exposure to sunlight, damages resulting from household humidity, or damages resulting from any liquid, including but not limited to alcohol and water.            
Frames & Spring Support Systems for Sofas, Sectionals, Chairs & Ottomans 5 years            

Hernest warrants the frame and  spring support systems against breakage due to defects in construction materials and workmanship                

Cushioning System 3 years             Includes seam slippage, buttons, and zipper closures. Excludes loss of resilience, loft, or crown. Cushion cores used in seat cushions, back pillows, and padding will soften and conform to the shape of the user as a result of normal use. This is not considered a manufacturing defect.            
Fabric 3 years             Warranty does not cover wrinkling, fading, pilling, stains, dye transfer from other fabrics or objects, or damage caused by pets.            
Leather 3 years             Warranty does not cover natural markings or color changes caused by body oils, soil, or damage caused by pets.            
Mechanical Components 3 years             Includes drawer and door glides, table extensions, hinges, locks, cranks, wheels and castors, and electrical components.            
Wood Furniture 5 years             Warranty does not cover expansion, contraction, or effects of extreme high/low humidity. Wood furniture will have one or more of the following characteristics, which are not considered quality defects: variations in grain and color, knots, mineral streaks, and/or pitch pockets.            
Metal Furniture             5 years             Warranty does not cover rust or tarnishing resulting from either scratches or abrasions to the finish or changes in the patina.            
Marble Stone Tops 5 years             Warranty does not cover stains or changes in the color or texture of marble and stone materials.            


WARRANTY DEFINITION 


This Hernest Limited Warranty is non-transferable and applies to indoor furniture that is used in a residential (non-commercial) setting only and is void if the furniture is used in what is considered to be a non-household setting, or is misused, handled improperly, or reupholstered. Proper care and use are essential to preserving your rights under this warranty. Hernest's decision on complaints regarding defects in workmanship or materials is final and conclusive. Any refund or replacement will be at Hernest's discretion. The warranty is applicable only to the original retail purchaser and is subject to the terms and conditions outlined above.


WARRANTY SERVICE


Any claims will have to be emailed to service@hernest.com, attached with photos of defects, and the order number.


Hernest will provide replacement parts or a reasonably equivalent furniture item as a replacement for any product defects. In case of replacement, Hernest cannot guarantee that you will receive exactly the same piece. If your piece is no longer available, a comparable piece of equal value and similar style will be substituted. No cash refund is available and in no case shall Hernest be liable for more than the purchase price of the furniture or for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to your state. Proof of purchase is required to exchange merchandise or receive warranty service. If any item is repaired or replaced under this Limited Warranty, it will be covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period.
